Tarion Warranty Protection Guarantee
In Ontario, new home builders must be licensed by the HCRA. Xavieras Custom Homes is an HCRA licensed custom home builder, HCRA Licence No. 60558, and a Tarion registered builder serving Toronto and the GTA.
For eligible new homes, Tarion warranty coverage may include one-year protection for workmanship, materials, and Ontario Building Code compliance; two-year protection for water penetration, exterior cladding, and major systems such as electrical, plumbing, and HVAC; and seven-year protection for major structural defects.
Where applicable, Tarion may also provide financial loss protection of up to $40,000 for contract homes. We enrol eligible homes with Tarion before construction begins and provide the required Certificate of Completion and Possession before possession, helping keep your home properly documented and protected from the start.
Energy Efficiency & Home Performance Guarantee
A high-performance custom home should not rely only on expensive materials or big claims. What matters is how the home is planned, installed, sealed, insulated, and tested as a complete system.
At Xavieras Custom Homes, our energy efficiency guarantee is focused on real performance, not just product labels. We pay attention to the details that affect comfort and long-term energy use, including insulation, air sealing, windows, mechanical systems, ventilation, and overall building envelope quality.
Where the project scope includes performance testing or certification, we can coordinate third-party verification such as blower door testing, EnerGuide evaluation, ENERGY STAR, or Net Zero Ready requirements. This helps homeowners understand how the home performs beyond what can be seen in photos or finishes.
